The Panasonic Lumix TZ-80 uses a highly sensitive 18.1 megapixel MOS sensor and the Venus Engine (the same quality engine found in high-end LUMIX system cameras) to capture photos even in low-light environments.
Shooting in RAW format lets you capture and edit more detailed information, preserving original color and light information with minimal processing.
The 24mm LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens features a 30x optical zoom*, allowing you to see the unforgettable moments of your adventures up close.
*Equivalent to 24-720mm with a 35mm camera.
Record your adventures in up to four times the quality of Full HD. More excitement, more detail, more vivid and unforgettable memories. *Please use a UHS Speed Class 3 card when recording 4K video.
The photosynthesis function synthesizes images by selecting and saving the brighter pixels. This makes it possible to create a more dramatic image of the situation.
4K live cropping enables video expressions that were previously difficult to capture. Only the recording frame moves while the camera remains fixed.
Stable panning is possible, and you can zoom in on subjects other than the center of the screen. Strong sunlight can make it difficult to see even the brightest camera screens.
The live viewfinder automatically turns on when you bring the camera close to your eye, so you can see every detail and capture unforgettable moments.
The control ring allows smooth manual operation of aperture, shutter speed, zoom and focus.
Low-light autofocus helps you focus more precisely on your subject.
Even without the AF auxiliary light, the brightness is like moonlight. In addition, LUMIX TZ80 is newly installed
"Starlight AF" that can shoot stars in the night sky with accurate autofocus
Calculation of contrast values in narrower AF zones. Panasonic's DFD (Depth From Defocus) Autofocus (AF) technology instantly calculates the distance between objects in the frame while simultaneously controlling the focus of the lens.
Fast, continuous movement. This system achieves a maximum AF speed of 0.1 seconds and a continuous shooting speed of 5 frames per second during AFC. It also improves the stability of continuous focus during video recording.
Hybrid O.I.S. (optical image stabilization) + 5-axis correction enables blur-free one-handed video shooting. This feature detects and compensates for the horizontal or vertical height of the camera rotation axis. With the level shot function*, horizontal images can be viewed live even when the camera is tilted. It records stable footage even in high-angle and blind shots.
* HYBRID O.I.S.+ and level shot functions do not work when shooting 4K video.
