Refund policy

Our returns policy as stated here does not affect or alter your statutory rights under
European and Irish law, but details our policies both to facilitate these and in addition to
your basic rights. For full details of our policy see the terms and conditions of this website
(this is intended simply as a plain-language explanation of these T&Cs).
Items ordered directly from the website or by phone are covered by a fourteen day cooling
off period (from the delivery date, under EU distance selling regulations) within which you
may cancel the item and receive a full refund if it is unused. If the item has already been
dispatched then you are responsible for taking care of the item(s) to ensure they arrive back
in good order, and must make the return within fourteen days for the cancellation to stand.
Purchases or orders made in person are not covered by any such statutory cooling off
period.
Items will also be accepted for return where there is a material fault in the product or where
it is not fit for purpose as per advice given by one of our sales staff. Please note that we can
not accept responsibility for cases where an item is purchased without seeking advice and it
subsequently fails to excel in specific uses outside those expected for such a product or for
which it has been advertised as suitable by the manufacturer.
In no circumstances can a cash refund be given on purchases simply because of a change of
mind on the part of the purchaser (unless in circumstances covered by the distance-selling
cooling-off period described above), but a credit note or voucher may be offered at the
discretion of the management (usually by prior agreement)
Further independent advice on your consumer rights is available from the Competition and
Consumer Protection Commission.
