Capture shots from a breathtaking distance with the Nikon COOLPIX P1000 125x optical zoom digital camera. Equipped with a 16MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor, the camera incorporates his NIKKOR lens with a focal range of 24-3000mm in 35mm equivalent. With the 250x dynamic fine digital zoom, you can zoom even further and get a focal length equivalent to 6000mm. Along with these extreme focal lengths is Nikon's Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction, which provides 5 stops of optical image stabilization to ensure telephoto shots are sharp.
A tilting 3.2-inch 921,000-dot LCD monitor and an 8-inch dot electronic viewfinder are placed on the back of the camera at eye level to ensure a clear view of the subject at all times. The camera can also record 4K UHD video at 30 or 25 fps and supports an external microphone via the 3.5mm port.
Camera shake can be a problem when shooting with a tripod at extreme focal lengths. Or he may need to remotely control the P1000 in another way. The optional ML-L7 remote control addresses these needs by wirelessly controlling the camera's zoom, shutter and other settings.
