Designed for DX format DSLR cameras, this telephoto zoom offers users a focal length range equivalent to 105-450mm. Ultra-low dispersion elements and super integrated coatings allow users to capture crisp, clean images with minimal flare and ghosting. This model also has Nikon's image stabilization, which can compensate for about 4 stops of shutter speed. This is especially useful at long focal lengths. The AF-P series lenses use a special pulse motor AF system with stepper motors to achieve smooth, noise-free focusing for both stills and video shooting. This series removes the switch from the lens barrel to prevent accidental setting changes and allows users to change settings in the camera's menus. In addition, a 7-blade circular diaphragm is used to achieve smooth bokeh.
