The Hawke Frontier ED X 10x42 Binoculars are built around a magnification and objective lens configuration trusted by professionals worldwide, delivering bright, high-contrast images with true-to-life colour and crisp clarity – even at long distances.
At the heart of these binoculars is Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass, combined with high-resolution phase-corrected BAK-4 roof prisms and dielectric coatings. This advanced optical system, supported by fully multi-coated anti-reflection lenses, produces clear, detailed views with enhanced brightness, accurate colours and reduced distortion or fringing. A wide apparent field of view creates an immersive viewing experience while helping to minimise visible hand shake.
Designed for fast, intuitive use, the large centre focus wheel runs through the full focus range in just 1.5 turns, making it easy to locate subjects and track movement. Close focusing down to 2 metres adds versatility for nearby viewing.
Built for outdoor reliability, the magnesium alloy chassis offers a lightweight yet corrosion-resistant construction. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed, delivering IPX7 waterproofing and fog-proof performance in changing temperatures. Additional features include water-repellent lens coatings, replaceable twist-up eyecups with position stops, and stay-on lens covers for everyday protection in the field.
