Are you looking for a telescope to help you as a beginner to gradually get into the world of astronomy and bring distant stars and galaxies closer? Or would you like to introduce your children or grandchildren to the exciting world of astronomy in a playful way?
Our DÖRR Mars 66 lens telescope is the ideal product for these purposes. Whether you are interested in observing celestial bodies such as the moon, Venus or Jupiter or would like to take a closer look at the Milky Way, this telescope will allow you to immerse yourself in the wonderful and infinite world of astronomy.
This telescope is an achromatic refracting telescope, in other words a classic lens telescope, with an objective aperture of 60 mm and a focal length of 700 mm. With the supplied eyepieces and the 2-times Barlow lens, you can achieve a minimum magnification of 35x to a maximum of 350x.
Furthermore, the Mars 66 is exceptionally easy to start using (no tools required) and features many features included in the delivery scope. Anyone wanting to take their first steps in astronomy will find all the necessary tools in this starter package and can get observing right away.
INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE:
AZ2 AZIMUTH MOUNT WITH FINE ADJUSTMENT
The high-quality fork mount can be used to manually move the telescope vertically and horizontally. Thanks, the two fine adjustments (silver screws), each celestial body can be easily and precisely sighted and observed.
ALUMINIUM TRIPOD
The light aluminum tripod is easy to transport and the telescope is secure and stable during your observations.
FINDER SCOPE 5X24
Before actually observing, use the finder scope to easily locate and target the celestial bodies.
3 DIFFERENT EYEPIECES
1x SR4 Ramsden eyepiece with 2 lenses and 175x magnification
1x H12.5 Huygens eyepiece with 2 lenses and 56x magnification
1x H20 Huygens eyepiece with 2 lenses and 35x magnification
2-TIMES BARLOW LENS
With the supplied Barlow lens 2x you double the magnification factor of the eyepieces.
MOON FILTER
The included moon filter is essential for moon observation as it protects your eyes from glare.
ERECTING LENS 1.5X
If the telescope is to be used for terrestrial observations (earth observations) as well as astronomical purposes, the supplied erecting lens can be used. The erecting lens inverts the upside-down image that is typical for astronomical observations.
90° PRISM
The included prism can be used to look comfortably into the telescope from above.
If you are still not entirely sure which speciality you would like to delve into in the future, this telescope offers you an introduction to the entire range of amateur applications.
The Mars 66 astro telescope fulfils all the prerequisites to help you, your children and your grandchildren take the first steps of their astronomical career. Get to know the stars from a completely new perspective or get excited and enthuse others about the fantastic world of astronomy.
