Dorr 200 Classic Carbon Monopod

A monopod is indispensable for sports and action photography and other shots using SLR and system cameras and a telephoto lens. The DÖRR Carbon Monopod Classic 200 is a stable base. It will safely and effortlessly support your camera and its telephoto lens, even for longer periods. You can thus prevent your shots from becoming blurred and yet still react quickly to your subject. In addition to use in photography, the Monopod Classic 200 is also suitable for use by all ambitious videographers.

The monopod tubes are made of 8 layers of high-quality carbon. Carbon is well known for its excellent properties. It absorbs shocks and vibrations, is highly stable and weighs very little. You will quickly come to appreciate its light weight, especially when out and about, at sporting and other events and when travelling.

The monopod is particularly easy to handle and can be assembled and disassembled in seconds. The monopod legs can be continuously adjusted to the desired height by giving a quarter turn on the practical twist-locks. With a maximum of 200 cm, the monopod has a very comfortable working size even for very tall photographers. The six sections of the monopod allow a compact transport size of just 49 cm.

To prevent damage to sensitive floors such as parquet when shooting indoors, the feet of Monopod Classic 200 are made of soft rubber. These rubber feet can be removed to reveal metal spikes for non-slip grip on forest paths, meadows, football fields and all natural outdoor floors.

A removable hand strap provides additional safety and prevents the camera and monopod from falling over.

The monopod plate is fitted with a rotating tripod screw with 2 threaded connections: a 3/8 inch thread for mounting a tripod head (optionally available from DÖRR). Cameras can be screwed directly onto the 1/4 inch thread, for use without a head. To turn the tripod screw, unscrew the base plate.

A carrying bag protects the high-quality monopod and facilitates transport.
