Featuring Canon’s second-generation Image Stabilizer technology, these binoculars actively compensate for hand movement, delivering steady images even during extended viewing sessions.
At the heart of the system is Canon’s Vari-Angle Prism Image Stabilizer, working alongside dual gyro sensors and a built-in microcomputer. When motion is detected, the prisms instantly adjust to correct shake, while proprietary algorithms improve startup speed and energy efficiency.
Optically, the 10x30 IS II benefits from Super Spectra multi-coatings to reduce light loss and enhance contrast. A Porro prism optical design provides excellent depth of field, making it easier to judge distances between subjects, while a doublet field-flattener helps correct spherical aberration for distortion-free views across the frame. A wide 55.3° apparent field of view and comfortable 14.5mm eye relief create an immersive viewing experience.
Powered by two AA batteries, the binoculars offer up to nine hours of operation at 25°C, all in a compact body measuring just 127 x 150 x 70mm and weighing 600g (excluding batteries).
